KCC Men's Basketball team dominated the court on friday night's Championship game against QCC to become the 2009 Champion of CUNY Conference Tournament. After a high scoring-close 1st half (49-43), KCC took full control of the game in the 2nd half with a lead that swelled from 6 points to as many as 33 points. William Holley (No. 4) led all scorers with 21pts, while adding nine rebounds and five assists. Earning tournament Most Valuable Player honors was Derrison Anthony (No. 15), who scored 18pts in the game, and had a total of 20 rebounds in the two games played in the tournament. by scoring 100 points in the game, KCC broke the all time record of scoring in the CUNY championship games.
